If you were looking to sum up just how hollowed-out the Canadian dream has become under Trudeau and previous Liberal governments, the China file might suffice. The question is what happens from now until the Liberals have a new leader and reach again for a majority in about two years to lessen the NDP’s influence on them? How will the West react if Trudeau goes ahead with plans to hem in the energy industry and expand the powers of a centralized government?

Just as Trump followed Obama someone friendly to business will succeed Joe Biden or Justin Trudeau. Wait till the midterms. Fat chance. Michelle Obama led the HR takeover of corporate America, and no CEO is willing to oppose that tide. Enjoy your guilt.
