The fly in this ointment is that, with American prestige and profit invested so deeply now, what happens if they run out of Ukrainian patriots to throw into the fire against a seemingly impregnable Putin? If the proxies are pushing up daisies what is Plan B? No one in the Western elites is sending their boys to die in Kiev or the Donbas region.

Predictably the same poseurs who vowed to go to Canada after Trump won in 2016 are now vowing to leave Twitter with Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter. As if. When there is so much hurt to weaponize against your enemies it would seem foolish to leave the party now.

Remember back in the Don Draper past when commercials actually talked about the product they were selling? Soap that cleaned clothes better. Cars that used less fuel. Toothpaste that whitened better. The idea was for you to buy the product to based on its merits. Yeah. Those days are done.

If you allow government to change the law for emergencies, they will create emergencies to change the law. Those in power have demonstrated that, in concert with their media shills, they can sell any proposition that even five years ago was unthinkable to most. Even those who cower behind masks now understand this.

At its heart this explosion of controlled expression is about one thing: Justin Trudeau’s next job. Whether it’s being wind therapist for The Great Reset or concierge at the Climate Hotel, hushing Canadians is all to the greater glory of the most vain person to ever be PM. Disney executive producer Latoya Raveneau is bullish on the family-oriented company going queer. She lauds the acceptance of her "not-at-all-secret gay agenda” and gushes that “where ever I could I was adding queerness… no one would try to stop me.” Her tone is incredulous at how easy it all is.

The Truckers coup was all BS as we learned last week with the visit to Parliament by FINTRAC official Barry MacKillop. McKillop said there was not a hint of foreign threat to Canada’s democracy in the donations. “It was their own money. It wasn’t cash that funded terrorism or was in any way money laundering,” he told a Parliamentary committee. “I believe they just wanted to support the cause.”

Is this truly a crisis? Not really. But having expanded hate speech from Holocaust denial to “suspend the financial records of people who criticize the PM” the radicals behind the legislation have been able to create fanciful “crisis” statistics for gormless media to regurgitate. Butt that’s just a start on repressing speech.

So if Vladimir Putin is what the West deserves what does it say about the West today? It says they’re in the basement watching Netflix after leaving the front door open and giving the burglars a map to where they hide the family jewels.
